COAP Compliance
Hospitals are in Full Compliance with COAP Quality Standards if they meet the following criteria:
- Program participation
- Complete and timely data submission
- 90% or higher validation rate between case counts and outside billing data
- Successful correction of performance outliers identified on the prior year’s data
- Any Level l metric outlier from the prior year or the prior 3 year average do not persist as outliers into the current year
- Two or fewer Level ll metric outliers from the prior year or the prior 3 year average persist as outliers into the current year
- Two or fewer Level ll metric outliers from the prior TWO three year averages persist as outliers
